Casa Mirador, Panama
Residential Design
When our clients said that they were moving to Panama to build their 'forever' home and wanted a personal, architectural footprint that reflected their artistic, eclectic and creative style, we created a modern, single-level home with a strong silhouette, making use of local materials and mixing with steel, glass and wood to create a powerful visual dance of light and shadow play from first sunrise to last sunset under the Panama sun! This resulted in a design-build concept the created an effortless place of balance and beauty, in harmony with its surroundings.

Ho'olawa, Maui
Retail Design​​
For this wonderful retail project, the design brief became apparent upon my first site survey of the space. Ho'olawa's mission statement is incredibly sympathetic with Maui and her 'aina' (land). The client wanted a fresh design approach, which offered the shopper an intuitive journey through the space, yet had a strong brand presence to match the integrity of it's intentions to provide their local community with a plethora of eco-concsious, sustainable consumer choices.
This is truly the little boutique, with a huge heart!

Maui Thai Bistro
Restaurant Design
This commercial restaurant space was extended and re-modelled with a fresh, modern twist. Inspiration was pulled from our clients wanting something simple, yet, modern and calm but with warmth. A neutral colour palette for the walls and furnishings was warmed up with the carefully considered use of a Brazilian hardwood that created the main design feature and visual concept for the space, not only as a visual element of the overall design, but it also created the space's main floor plan/layout within the restaurant.
